Risk Assessment

Risk Assessment

· How will the risk assessment assist you with filming?
Below is a table of the risks we have considered when filming, in order to do this we had to The risk assessment is vital to carry out before filming as we need to ensure that we are safe and there are not obstacles in the way before hand. This will assist us with filming as we will be able to film quickly and plan before, not allowing weather etc to get in the way as we already agreed that we would just adapt to the surroundings me we are by putting on appropriate footwear, at the same time matching the theme we are attempting to portray.

Description of hazard
Prevention of hazard
Weather conditions – consider weather
Snowy conditions
When filming on grass we will have to be cautious and take into account that it may be slippery.
Wear appropriate footwear
Filming on escalators
Make sure camera is stable; perhaps film by hand as tripod would not fit evenly on escalator.
Busy locations – rush hour

**Consider locations e.g (We were not allowed to film at Westfield)
Consideration of other people and although we want it to be busy we should attempt to avoid rush hour.
Taking care of possessions/belongings in Central London
Allocate someone to look after specific items in order to avoid misplacing equipment and assuming others have it.
**Aware of our surroundings
Some people appeared aggravated when we were filming.
